SCO summit brings China closer to its members.

The 22nd SCO Summit concluded successfully on Sept. 16.

Leaders at the wide-ranging talks discussed the recovery of the world economy, the stability of production and trade chains, climate change, food and energy security and other issues.

In recent years, many countries have applied to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

During the summit of large-scale meeting in 2022, in addition to the leaders of the eight member states, attending and Belarus, Iran, Mongolia leaders of the three observers, as well as chair of a guest, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan leader, is the history of the sco most leaders attending the summit.

At present, the eight SCO member states cover a total area of more than three-fifths of the Eurasian continent and account for nearly half of the world's population.

Shanghai Cooperation Organization is the largest and most populous comprehensive regional organization in the world. At the same time, trade between China and the SCO member states is becoming increasingly close. In the first eight months of this year, China's total imports and exports to the SCO member states increased by 26 percent year-on-year.
